When a person brings out the worst in you, stay away from that person.
Stay close to those who bring out the best. =)
Write one leaf about your lucky shirt.
If you have one.
My lucky shirt is one hanging in the back of my closet, never to be used again. Stained with blood, worn on the day my ‘96 Honda Accord was T-boned and totaled… August 17, 2007. Hanging in my closet to remind me how close I got to dying on that day.
Write one leaf about perfection.

Perfection. It’s just a state of mind. In the real world, it just doesn’t exist.
Write one leaf about unexpected bills.
(via writeoneleaf)
Unexpected bills, oh how I hate you so. To think I have some money, only to see it go. Then I’m stuck with nothing to spend on luxury. Bills, why must you be so compulsory?
Write one leaf about momentum.

Momentum, momentum, tell me when to stop. Never, never, until you hit a rock!
Write one leaf about a favorite poem.
If you don’t have a favorite poem, go get one.
Or write one.
Or write one leaf about why you don’t read poetry, but do not write one leaf about why you don’t read poetry without first reading some poetry, because if you do, you will likely be making assumptions about poetry that are untrue.
My favorite poem contains no words. My favorite poem does not consist of lines. My favorite poem is not limited to the confines of a piece of paper. Words cannot begin to describe this favorite poem of mine. In fact, my favorite poem is not a poem at all… but a life that has given new meaning to my own existence. However, if she were a poem that consisted of words and lines written on paper, I would have no problem reading her every day. She is my favorite poem.
Write one leaf about a sandwich.

The Perfect Sandwich
Get some coldcuts
And make me a sandwich please.
One more thing,
Don’t forget the cheese.
Swiss is good
But I prefer the pepperjack
Anything different,
and I’ll want my money back!
Turkey, ham, bologna,
Roast beef, and pastrami
Add some lettuce and some mayo…
A perfect sandwich, just for me!
